The researchers at Texas Christian University needed an upgrade to accurately record and update their data. They wanted an automated data entry system with useful business rules and alerts. CleverPear designed a solution that provides proactive alerts when data fall outside a specified range.

Objectives

• Provide a workbook experience that stores data at the time of entry without requiring special data permissions.
• Develop an alerts system that would allow them to create specific rules for the data and let users know immediately if their information doesn’t make sense.

Solution highlights

• Developed solution using XML, ASP.NET 2.0, C# and Oracle to build a flexible questionnaire mechanism to support new research projects.
